Retractable Insect Screens

Our range of quality retractable insect screens (or fly screens as they are also known) are a convenient alternative to traditional fixed fly screen systems and ideal where the traditional fixed system is just not feasible.

The retractable insect screen consists of a small pelmet box where the spring-loaded roll is housed and tracks for the insect screen to run. Position the insect screen so that the annoying bugs stay out or retract the insect screen when not required. What's great about these retractable insect screens is that they require no drilling or damage to install.

Here are just some of the scenarios that are ideal for the retractable insect screen:

• Food counters and canteens - there is nothing worse than seeing flies around food preparation areas.
• Where outward opening windows are fitted - now you can keep the windows open for fresh air and keep those pesky mosquitoes and flies out.
• Verandas and patio areas - fit the retractable insect screen between existing posts on a veranda for an insect-free enjoyable time.
• Where French and Bi-fold doors are installed.
• Apartments and multi-storey buildings - can be fitted from the inside and no drilling is required.

Different models to choose from

We stock a range of retractable insect screens:

• Vertical model - opens from top to bottom. Best suited for windows or narrow door ways.
• Horizontal model - opens from left to right or right to left. Best suited for door ways but also applicable for windows.

Custom Built

Every installation is different so we custom build your retractable insect screen for a perfect fit.

Sizes range from 80cm wide x 170cm high up to 320cm wide x 250cm high. Smaller sizes can be catered for by cutting to size. Larger openings may be catered for by placing multiple retractable insect screens "back-to-back" if possible.

The retractable insect screen can be fitted either in a reveal or on the face of the opening's surrounds. This adaptability caters for all possible installation requirements.
