Reprogrammable Lock CylindersChange the key not the lockThis revolutionary range of Reprogrammable Security Lock Cylinders feature the ability to change the lock's key without replacing the cylinder. Traditionally to change a lock's key you would have to disassemble the lock fitting, purchase a new cylinder with matching keys and then fit the new cylinder. With our Reprogrammable Lock Cylinders all you need to do is purchase a new set of keys and follow two easy steps. Once the cylinder is fitted there is no need for tools or dismantling of the lock to change the key. The conceptA set of keys consists of a gold-coloured "programming" key and multiple silver-coloured "everyday use" keys. Using the gold key the lock's cylinder is programmed initially and subsequently reprogrammed when required. The gold key should be kept in a safe place. The silver-coloured keys do not allow reprogramming of the lock's cylinder as they are provided for normal everyday use.Two easy steps to changing the set of keysOnce you have ordered and received your replacement key set from us proceed as follows to reprogram the lock cylinder to the new set of keys:
Note: once the "new" gold key has been programmed (activated) then the "old" keys (including the "old" gold key) will no longer be accepted. 
Replacement keysFor security reasons blank keys are not released outside of the manufacturing plant. Replacement key sets are available in tamper-evident sealed packets with 1 gold key and multiple associated silver keys (available in 1 Gold + 3 Silver, 1 Gold + 5 Silver, 1 Gold + 10 Silver and 1 Gold + 30 Silver.
