PROEX - Extruded Rollershutter
The PROEX range of roller shutters offer unmatched strength compared to traditional products.
PROEX roller shutters are made from commercial-grade extruded aluminium slats with a nominal wall
thickness of 1.1mm.
For commercial applications we recommend our heavy duty shutter guides (tracks) for added peace of mind.
PROEX shutters neatly conceal the roll in the pelmet box. The elegant looks make installation suitable in all
kinds of commercial, factory or industrial environments as well as homes requiring extra protection.

Various slat types are available that can be combined into the same shutter. These include:
- 40mm Single walled slats.
- 40mm Single walled triangular punched see through slats. This punched slat provides security
along with the ability to see through the shutter when closed. It is ideal where natural light and
ventilation is desired inside the premises. Alternatively, if you require natural light and no
ventilation, polycarbonate strips can be placed behind the triangular punched slats.
- 40mm Double walled solid slats (hollow). With its double wall this slat offers greater strength
and makes it suitable for most commercial applications, or homes requiring that extra peace of mind.

Easy Operation
- The shutters simply roll away out of sight when not in use - you choose which position is required.
- A range of controls are available to suit most applications including tape or cord coilers,
steel cable winches, rod winders as well as spring-assisted, electric motors and remote controls. The size of the shutter
and the application will determine which control is suitable.
Customised Options
- Individual Remote Controls. Each individual shutter can be adjusted at the touch of a button.
- Master Remote Control. Multiple shutters can be adjusted at the touch of a button.
- Safe guards such as Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) and Manual Override mechanisms allow
the electric roller shutter to be used even during a power failure.
- Under Construction installations. During the constructon or renovation
of your home roller shutters
can be fitted using the "under construction" method providing a better look
since the roller shutter's pelmet box and roller shutter are concealed within the wall cavity.

Multiple Applications
You may be surprised at how many different applications a roller shutter can be used in.
- As a garage door. A great alternative when you don't have the desired height in your
garage or carport. The diameter of the rolled up shutter is usually smaller than traditional
roller doors.
- To secure records and goods. Privacy laws require personal information to be secured under lock and key.
A roller shutter can be applied to shelving with minimal fuss.
- In place of a traditional door. Where a traditional swing or sliding door can't be fitted a
roller shutter may well be the answer.
